Correct employee earnings in the wrong province

When an employee's earnings are recorded to a wrong province, in addition to the tax forms produced at the end of the year, there are impacts to provincial deductions and remittances. You are responsible to notify the respective government agencies and remit any monies due or request a refund.

Contact your Customer Support Team for additional information and assistance as each scenario is unique. The province recorded for an employee impacts provincial deductions and remittances in addition to tax forms produced at the end of the year. Be prepared with the date and pay period the employee was first assigned to the wrong province.

  1. Access the Year-end Adjustment Spreadsheet.

  2. Complete the tab named Multiple Province Adjustments.

  3. Detailed instructions are provided in the spreadsheet.

  4. Email the completed spreadsheet to [email protected] .
